A treasured memory from Munich — hosting dinner at the historic Town Hall (Ratskeller) München with two legends of Indian cricket, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman.

What can management learn from champions?

Talent gets you noticed. Discipline keeps you there.
Pressure reveals character. Humility sustains greatness.
And consistency—not occasional brilliance—is what builds a legacy.

Sachin exemplifies the relentless pursuit of excellence without losing humility. Laxman reminds us that even when the odds look impossible, composure, patience and self-belief can turn adversity into victory.

The finest leaders and the finest sportsmen have something fundamental in common: they let performance speak louder than position.

That evening in Munich left me with a lesson I have never forgotten:

Success may win applause. Character earns respect.
